At Main Point, the reef bends at distinct sections. We project topographic reef maps to illustrate where the wave doubles up, where the barrel section unzips, and where to compress to blow past the foam ball.

Can I bring my own performance shortboards?
Yes, absolutely. Most advanced surfers bring their preferred quivers. Our coaches will analyze your board dimensions, fin setups (thruster vs quad), and match them to the conditions at Main Point or Pottuvil Point.
How does the wakeboarding session help my advanced surfing?
Wakeboarding gives you sustained, high-speed water time without paddle fatigue. It is the premier training tool for testing edge angles, extreme knee compression, rotational snapping, and high-speed balance that directly transfers to surfing.
What happens if swell conditions are flat?
Arugam Bay receives consistent swell from May through October. However, on smaller days, we take our Tuk-Tuks to outer exposed breaks like Okanda or Lighthouse, or we schedule the wakeboard cross-training and projector classroom theory on those days.
