How It All Started
The idea for Edgeway Surf was born from a simple discussion among a group of passionate locals: Rifky, Walith, and Ahath. Born and raised in Arugam Bay, Rifky had years of experience in the tourism industry, Walith was an expert surf instructor, and Ahath was a talented local surf photographer and videographer.
Noticing a gap in the market for a truly premium, all-encompassing surf experience for foreigners, they asked themselves: 'Why don't we provide the absolute best surf lessons, photography, and camp experience in town?'
Combining their unique skills, they created Edgeway Surf—a school dedicated to offering the safest surf guidance, the highest quality lessons, and the best memories captured on camera.
